New Shows! New tunes!

Greetings friends and fans! It has been a while since my last update here, so get ready to be filled in on my past and future musical endeavors.

On March 15, 2012 I played a show at The Beat Kitchen in Chicago. The show supplied a heaping helping of diverse music including myself, Paislienne, and Lake Radio.

Paislienne- Paislienne is a solo psychedelic musician, currently residing in the Los Angeles area. Influenced by musicians such as Jana Hunter, Lilys, and Eric Burden, her sound is both entrancing and harmonious.

LAKE R▲DIO- This pet project of 20 year old Illinois native Caden Moore was done as an exploration into the “darker” realm of music and himself. Prior to forming LAKE R▲DIO, Caden sang and played guitar in Heavy Ghost (for whom he still plays) and sometimes released solo stuff under the name The Sky Operator. Citing dreams as the biggest driving force for LAKE R▲DIO, it’s no wonder his songs have an other-worldly charm, an inverse familiarity like hearing or seeing in a dream.

I had a blast at this show! The acoustics at the venue were absolutely perfect, and the sound guy did an amazing job with all of the acts. The sound was so great that I decided to record my set. The set is available for free download here.  I honestly feel this set is the best I've ever played, and I am so excited to share it with you!  Here is little preview of my live set. 'Cut You Up' is a duet that I wrote for my friend and musical companion, Sam Huff and myself. He is also a part of Creepy Band and The Kodiak Farm Boys.

I recently played a show at Cafe Mustache in Chicago.  Cafe Mustache is a unique cafe in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.  This place is packed with vinyl records, games, and fun stuff to look at. They play only vinyl records, and serve local coffee and booze.  I promoted the show by calling it 'Warm Coffee, Hot Women', and booked all female musicians for the show. Angel Katz opened the night with some killer tunes, and Aly Jados headlined the show with some classic rock covers and original material.

I have another show coming up on October 9 at Subterranean in Chicago. Coincidentally, it will be a night of all female musicians again! Angel Katz, Cyndy Fike, and Anne Debre are playing, along with myself.  I'm really excited for this show! Subterranean is notorious for their sound quality, and I can't wait to play some new tunes I've got up my sleeve.  I've also made some new merch that will be available at the show. CDs, pins, and patches will be available for a small donation!

Can't wait to see you all there!

Cheers!
